Please take a look at our recently restored 15th century traditional stone house, located in the historic centre of Barjac, crossroads to the National Park of the Cévennes and the Ardèche gorges.

Our two large rooms are reached by an ancient stone spiral staircase and have been created to be relaxing and comfortable whilst retaining all the original character of this listed building. Breakfast is served on the roof terrace, overlooking Barjac’s 11th century chateau as well as the Cévennes Mountains.

Explore the streets of the peaceful Renaissance village of Barjac, perched high on a hill, with picturesque views of the beautiful French countryside. The Cèze River, the famous Ardéche Gorges and the Cote de Rhone vineyards are only a short car journey away.

In fact Barjac is ideally situated to host a number of events including the famous antiques fair (held at Easter and in mid-August), a folk music festival and the annual bull running. And with an average 300 days of sunshine a year, we are fortunate to have a whole range of outdoor activities available on our doorstep, such as: horse riding, hiking, paragliding, quad biking, and of course canoeing, (not to mention leisurely picnics by the river).

Local commerces and a good selection of restaurants and cafes are just a stones throw from our front door. A Provencal market is held every Friday morning and a night market during the months of July and August. We also have a local cinema with outdoor screenings during the summer.
